Happy Wednesday, Wedding Wednesday and Galentine’s Day! It’s only the best day of the year! I’m a serious Parks & Rec fan so celebrating today is always so fun. Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and in honor of that and today also being Wedding Wednesday I’ve decided to merge today’s blog post and my Engagement Shoot!

I took my pictures last October and I’ve been waiting for the perfect opportunity to share them! Today seems like that day! We had so much fun taking them and it’s always fun to have R in the pictures with me. We wanted two different themes and we did them both!

HOUSTON AQUARIUM SHOOT

I wanted to have a “pretty” but fun engagement shoot. My thoughts were a little more dressed up but something fun that showed off our personalities. Fun fact about us: when we travel to any new city we always go to the aquarium. The Houston Aquarium fit the bill for what I was thinking of!

UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON SHOOT

Ryan wanted something a little more sporty and something very much featuring our college, the University of Houston. We are both huge UH football fans (which you guys know) so having our shoot on the football field was a dream of his. Needless to say his dream was made a reality.

I love how both shoots turned out and can’t wait to get them printed on the Save the Date cards!
