Houston Travel Guide

If you visit Houston you will have plenty to do! (believe me)  But with such a large city it can be hard to figure out what to do, where to stay, and where to eat! This will be a list of things that in my opinion you need to stop at or consider going to!

    • The Breakfast Klub-very popular so if you go on the weekend make sure you get there early!
      • Get-Chicken & Waffles
    • Dish Societyvery popular on the weekends! They have an amazing brunch (with some lunch items)
      • Get-Brisket & Eggs or Nutella French Toast
    • Croissant-Brioche-its a French cafe so lots of baked goods! Also amazing coffee!
      • Get-Spinach Quiche & a Cafe Mocha
    • The Union Kitchenmany omelet & benedict choices (for my egg lovers) & bottomless mimosas!
      • Get-Texas Blue Crab Cake benedict & bottomless mimosas (duh!)
  • Lunch
    • True Food KitchenMany good food options (i.e. organic, grass-fed, etc.) NOTE: menu changes each season
      • Get-Grilled Chicken Salad & Honey Lemonade
    • Barnaby’s Cafe-so many different options for the whole family! NOTE: this place is dog friendly!
      • Get-Mac & Cheese Appetizer & Free Range Grass-fed Buffalo Burger
    • Ruggles Greenthis place also has many options and prices are very reasonable!
      • Get-Grilled All Natural Turkey Burger & White Chocolate Bread Pudding
  • Dinner
    • RA Sushihas an amazing happy hour menu (also have reverse) and some really good mixed drinks!
      • Get-“RA”ckin Roll, Tootsy Maki, and Crunchy Calamari Roll
    • El Big BadIn downtown Houston with amazing views from the patio! Margaritas are a MUST!
      • Get-Pollo Tinga and Carne Asada tacos
    • El RealIf you love Tex Mex food then this place is definitely for you! Prices are truly inexpensive and the margaritas start at $5!
      • Get-Guacamole and Shrimp Puffy Tacos
    • Sullivan SteakhouseThis place is fancy! (No joke) So if you are celebrating an anniversary or birthday I would highly recommend coming here!
      • Get-Filet Mignon with Gorgonzola Garlic Butter and obviously some wine!
    • Gyu KakuThis place is a mixture of Korean BBQ & Japanese food! Definitely an experience (you cook your own food) and many meat options!
      • Get-any of the BBQ choices
