Happy Wedding Wednesday my loves! How is everyone doing? I know the world is seeming a little scary now a days but I really want to encourage everyone to just look at your blessings. They can be easily overlooked and this is the best time to just breath, relax, and say thank you. Today I want to get away from the news and share an easy and beautiful wedding DIY and that is these beautiful church pew decorations.

As I mentioned, I still wanted to post to help alleviate some of the news you guys are hearing and just focusing on fun exciting things and for me that is my wedding! I know a lot of brides have had to postpone their spring wedding and my heart goes out to you all. I’d love to form a support group of some sort so if you are interested in that kind of thing let me know!

Without further ado, lets get into the church pew decorations! They are really easy to make and would be a great pop as I’m walking down the aisle. If you are needing something to decorate your pews or if you are just interested in seeing then come check it out!

STEP 3: You will need ribbon in two different sizes. The longest piece is 5 ft and the shorter piece is 1 1/3 ft. You will need 14 of each size.
STEP 4: Wrap the bottom of the flowers with ribbon. You can also completely cut off the stems if you would like.

STEP 5: Grab your cut tulle and completely open it up while ruffling up the tulle. Then fold it in half leaving an open space at the top. This will be the space where you tie ribbon to hang your decoration.
STEP 6: Grab your flowers and set them about 1 inch above the open space.

STEP 7: Take one of the 5 ft ribbon and tie it around the back of the tulle and bring it towards the front where the flowers are. You can create a nice bow up front or just make a knot.
STEP 8: Finally grab the 1 1/3 ft ribbon and loop it through the top space you left earlier. Make a knot towards the top of the ribbon and you’re done!

I’m very excited to see these in person at my wedding! I decided to just use faux flowers for these because the church will be providing all our florals which btw is a blessing! Even then I believe the faux flowers look great and will fit in perfectly and look beautiful on our church pews.

I hope you guys enjoyed and if you have any questions you can let me know down below! If you are getting married in a church I would love to hear what ideas you have or what you did for your wedding if you already got married. Did you guys make church pew decorations?
