Happy Wedding Wednesday! I have something super exciting to share with you all today and that is my wedding invitations! We received our invitations about two weeks ago and they are everything that I expected them to be. Our wedding invitations are from Minted and I highly recommend them for all your wedding paper needs. Let’s jump into the post!

MINTED WEDDING INVITATIONS

So as mentioned, I used Minted to order my invitations. They have so many great designs that are made by different designers. I promise you they have a style for everything single person. Something classic, elegant, fun, romantic, etc. They have all kinds of invitations for all different price ranges. Once you choose your style you can also get Save The Dates, Thank You Cards, Wedding Programs, etc in that same style! Whatever you choose you will love it trust me. Minted is the best! Now onto my invitations!

MY WEDDING INVITATIONS

So for my wedding invitations I wanted something romantic and pretty since that’s the theme for my wedding. I promised Ryan there was no such thing as a manly invitation so he was ready for whatever came his way (lol). Minted has so many romantic style invitations so the decision was definitely hard but after some good research and asking around we found the one!

I found this design with wisteria that was blush, cream, and a light peach. I knew it was the one because it was romantic and obviously so pretty. Everything about it was exactly what I was looking for and like I mentioned above I got to customize it to my exact liking! This design is called the Wisteria Blooms and it’s by Susan Moyal.

The design does come in over 6 colors but if you are wanting to customize it to your own colors again definitely something you can do. You can also add foil to any of the designs if you like a design that doesn’t have foil on it. In the photos I did clear out the name of the ceremony & reception location.

I customized the color of our names (I think it was originally grey) and also added in the reception location under the wording ‘reception to follow.’ The other great part of ordering our invitations through Minted was that they preprinted all our address on envelopes!

There literally is nothing worse than my handwriting so having this option really helped me. Did I mention you that’s a free feature with you invites?! How much better does that get?!

RSVP CARDS

Obviously I got the matching RSVP cards to go with the invitations. You can also customize these the same as you can with invitations. So with the RSVP cards I also customized the color on RSVP and at the bottom I added in our wedding address. Our cards did have the option of everyone choosing their entree but we have entrees set so I knew I didn’t need that on our RSVPs.

Also I loved the fact that we added in the wedding website because it reminds people that they can RSVP online. The RSVPS come with their own envelopes of course and you can add the return address on them for a fee. I actually decided to do labels because I was able to use them on the wedding invitation envelope and on the RSVP envelope.

EXTRAS

I already mentioned above that we did get labels. We just ordered some off of Amazon but you can also get some from Minted if you want your suite to match. I wanted something extremely simple so I opted just to get labels on my own.

Something I always knew I wanted were wax seals! I shared that I had found some at Walmart and guys they were so great! Honestly it is a learning curve (as you can tell) but after a bit of practice I think I got it down perfectly. They give the perfect touch to the outside of envelopes!

The last little touch was this pretty pink ribbon. We weren’t sure if we wanted belly bands but I thought a ribbon was just more my style! If you do like belly bands you can get matching ones from your suite.

I’m mailing out our invitations this week and I can’t wait for everyone to receive them! We are still hoping for the best in our current situation and are hoping everything will continue. We are just staying positive over here and continuing our plans and this just helps check another huge item off our list.

I’d love to hear what you guys think of our invitations. If you are a bride to be don’t forget to check out Minted for your Save the Dates and invitations! They are currently running a sale for 15% off invitations and 25% off Save the Dates so hurry!
