Good Morning friends! I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted a new post and it’s 100% on me. I’ve been busy getting some of my life together and I haven’t had the time to make content for my blog. But finally today I’m going to be sharing my fun Guide to a Girls Road Trip to Dallas, TX!

This past weekend was just what the doctor ordered lots of laughs, girl time, drinks, and of course tons of pictures! Dallas is about a 3 hour drive from Houston and the I’ve only visited the city a few times. This definitely has been my favorite visit overall and I’m so excited to share what I did for my girls trip!

WHERE TO STAY

With so many places to see and explore in Dallas where you stay is so important. We had the pleasure of staying with Stay Alfred on Jackson Street and guys it was literally the BEST stay ever! Not only do you have a ton of things in walking distance but on the other side of the condominium are a bunch of restaurants and bars literally less than a minute walk away.

Now let’s talk about the room. The best part about staying with Stay Alfred in any city is that you have your very own travel apartment. Being that we were on this girls trip we got a 2 bed 2 bath travel apartment that came with so many extras like a half bath, office space, and washer & dryer. Literally anything you could need to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible is with Stay Alfred.

I have traveled with my girl Ressa before but having my own bedroom and bathroom was such a treat! Don’t get me wrong she’s an awesome bunk buddy and roomie but there’s nothing like having a bed to yourself. I also had my own closet which I was able to hang all my clothes in and again my own bathroom which had so much space and great lighting.

If you are traveling with multiple people then Stay Alfred is definitely the spot for you! They have room for you and everyone else plus every Stay Alfred is conveniently located in every city!

Dallas is home to so many different cuisines and restaurants. I told you guys earlier that the Stay Alfred on Jackson St is attached to a hotel and in the hotel are a ton of restaurants. The first restaurant we checked out was Overeasy.

Saturday morning was POURING I mean it literally looked like a hurricane. Luckily while exploring, we found our path to the hotel side and saw that Overeasy was a cute breakfast & brunch spot. They have all kinds of coffee, drinks, and breakfast food. I ended up ordering my favorite, Avocado Toast and got two poached eggs on the side. It was beyond amazing and highly recommend for you to go and try!

The night we were invited to try out Stampede 66 by Stephan Pyles in Allen, TX. We were both starving and so excited to try out new dishes and have a nice girls night dinner. The restaurant is located inside a hotel and the ambiance for the restaurant is just perfect. Very Texas inspired with country music and videos playing.

We started out with an order of Shrimp Taquitos and I ordered a Passion Chile Margarita to drink. So much shrimp flavor and the guacamole dip was perfect. For my dish, I ordered the Cowboy Bone-in Ribeye with Red Chile Onion Rings. OH MY GOODNESS! If you are a steak eater then you have to try this! It was cooked to perfection and the beans and onion rings were the perfect touch.

Lastly for dessert, I ordered the Cobbler of the Day which luckily for me was peach because peach cobbler is my favorite! Guys it was so good! It came with peaches and strawberry and a little bit of vanilla ice cream. I highly HIGHLY recommend checking out Stampede 66 for a nice dinner filled with all kinds of tasty Texas inspired dishes with a twist.

Sunday morning, we had made brunch reservations at Flora Street Cafe. Brunch just isn’t brunch without delicious mimosas and I got to try two different flavors available, the Pear & Blood Orange. Both were really good but the Blood Orange was AMAZING! We started with an order of the Warm Cake Donuts. Definitely recommend because not only are they the perfect starter they are just mouthwatering.

I ordered the Lobster Club Sandwich and we ordered the Heavy Handed Blueberry Pancakes to split and also received the Tamale Tart with Roast Garlic Custard. Guys I can’t even begin to explain. Everything was so SOOOO good! My favorite for sure had to be the Tamale Tart and trust me if you like Tex-Mex food and seafood then this plate is for you!

I HIGHLY recommend Flora Street Cafe for your next brunch. The location is perfect, the restaurant is beautiful, the drinks are so yummy, and the food is really flavorsome and delectable. You guys really won’t be disappointed.

Of course a girls trip wouldn’t be complete without going out to some fun spots at night. I’ve heard of all the fun spots in Dallas so I was really excited to see what they were about. We were lucky enough to go to two amazing spots that are right next to each other so if your in the mood to party then check these out.

Friday night we checked out Waterproof which was such a cute spot. It’s a rooftop lounge with a pool right down the middle. The drinks are always flowing and the music is just right. There is plenty of seating if you are looking to get bottle service with the girls.

Saturday night while we were heading back to our room we passed Scout and it sounded so fun and it looked like everyone was having a good time so we decided to stop by. It’s such a cool spot with drinks, music, and they have a ton of different games you can play like pool, bowling, darts, etc. We had such a blast at both places and like I said they are incredibly close to each other so you can definitely go to both in one night.

As a blogger, anytime I travel I tend to take some photos around the city I’m visiting. This was no different and luckily because Ressa is also a blogger we were able to find a ton of cute spots to take photos at in Dallas.

Our absolute favorite area to visit to take photos was Deep Ellum. They had so many cute shops, murals, and cars that were around that you can just stop by and snap a shot. It’s such a cute place to visit and honestly hang out. They have live music, tons of places to eat, and lots of bars to chill at.

With all the rain on Saturday, we took a ton of photos around The Statler which was honestly perfect because the hotel is so cute. We found this really fun mural at the front of Overeasy, of course the coffee shop of Overeasy is super cute, and so many more spots around the hotel. They do have cute vintage cars right outside where you can take photos but we were on such a move that we forgot. Also make sure to check out there pool area because you can get some really fun photos up there.

I hope this guide will help you guys who go to Dallas either on a girls trip or any trip! If you have any questions on anything you can always ask in my comments!
