Happy Friday! I swear this week was so off for me because the holiday was on Tuesday. Since I spent two days in Padre, I came home, get some work done, and now I’m officially on my way to New Orleans with my girl Ressa from ressamazing. Make sure to check out mine and her Instagram to see all our adventures. Today’s blog post is a review on the Pearl South Padre Resort.
If you followed along on my Instagram or Snapchat you got to see some sneak peeks of the hotel and my stay! All I can say is that it was such a fun trip! We got to hang out at the pool, beach, and eat some yummy food! It was a small trip but every part of it was amazing. I haven’t been to South Padre Island since I was a kid and I know it’s a huge Spring Break stop but if you haven’t been in a while I would say go back and visit for a bit. You will love it!
Room: The room was so comfy and huge! They provided a mini fridge which was great cooling some water or drinks. They also provide water for sale in the room and they have room service which is well priced. We had a king bed and a couch to hang out while watching TV. The best part is definitely the balcony. The view from the room was beyond amazing! You could see the pools and the beach! It was seriously stunning. The only thing that was annoying was the elevators. It might have just been because there was so many people visiting for the holiday but I swear every time I went to get on one it was either overly crowded or broken.
Pool: The pool is absolutely beautiful and it’s huge! There is a dedicated spot for kids and is great for families. The best part was definitely the swim up bar. They have great drinks and delicious bites!
Beach Access: My favorite part of the entire hotel was how easy it was to get to the beach. I mean it’s literally a bridge away! They have umbrella and chair rentals if you didn’t bring one which makes it convenient for those who want to travel light or don’t have any. Of course, there are rentals for water activities.
We had such an amazing time and we are already wanting to plan our next trip out! Some worthy recommendations for food are Ceviche Ceviche and Yummies Bistro. OMG they are both amazing! If you love ceviche I promise you that Ceviche Ceviche is your spot! You can make it any way you want and trust me you can’t make it wrong!
The second place, Yummies Bistro, is literally yummy! They have the best breakfast/lunch menu and an extensive coffee menu! I loved it so much that I wish I would have gone back to get a coffee to go!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post and let me know if any recommendations you have if you have visited. Have a good weekend!
