Hi friends and happy Wednesday! We made it to the middle of the week! I’ve been getting a bunch of wedding things done so it’s been quite busy around here. Taking a break from all that I’m going to be sharing my top 5 beauty items of 2019!
I try all kinds of things every year so I always like seeing what makes the cut and this year I found some new great things! If you remember last year I said I wanted to focus on more skincare and man did I ever! I found some great new items that I truly couldn’t live without.
Just like my top Amazon/retailer sales post, I will be sharing the product and the link. This time I will also add why I love the item and how I use it! Let’s jump into my top 5 beauty items of 2019. By the way, these are in no particular order because I truly loved all of them!
REUSABLE MAKEUP ROUNDS
I know there are so many reports and stories of all this garbage everywhere and ways we can help the environment and this year I took a step towards that. I bought reusable, washable, makeup rounds and I’ve never looked back! They seriously have been such a game changer in my skincare and life! I’m not sure exactly how much money I’ve saved but it definitely has to be a good amount. I highly recommend them if you use makeup wipes.
DRUNK ELEPHANT VITAMIN C DAY SERUM
At the beginning of the year I got a package of goodies from Drunk Elephant and got to try a lot of their products. The one that stood out to me was the vitamin c day serum. I used it consistently every morning after washing my face and it brightened my skin and gave the nicest glow! There were days I didn’t even do my makeup because my skin literally shined and glowed so beautifully. I highly recommend if you are needing a morning serum!
FACIAL CLEANSING BRUSH
During Prime Day last year I picked up a few things and one was this cute little brush. It’s rechargeable, waterproof, and has a heating function. Best part it’s under $20! It’s the only thing I’ve used since July this past year and it helps to get all the dirt and makeup out of skin easily. Plus the heating and vibrating option feels so nice against your skin almost like a facial at home.
T3 MICRO CURLING IRON
If you haven’t heard or seen the T3 Curling Iron then wake up! It’s everywhere and talked about everywhere for a reason! I’ve always wanted to use a curling iron on my hair but for some odd reason every curling iron left my hair looking like well poop. I used curling wands and that helped but once I got this curling iron it was a GAME CHANGER! I do have all three sizes but I use the 1″ inch barrel the most often. I highly recommend and if you want to use wand you can always buy the separate attachment for it.
MORPHE MICRO BROW PENCIL
Last but not least a makeup product! There were a lot of different products I loved but this one has been consistent since the end of 2018. I’m always trying out different brow products and this one has stuck through. It’s definitely smoother and waxier than the NYX brow pencil. If you have tried the Anastasia Brow Pencil this is more of a dupe to that but a huge fraction of the price. This one is only $5! I always buy a ton of these whenever Ulta send outs coupons (which btw is always). I highly recommend trying it if you are looking for a new brow product!
