Happy Monday and first day of school for so many of you! I can’t believe it’s the end of August and the fall season is literally knocking on our door. This year flew by so fast! Today I’m going to be sharing some tips to have the best game day experience! It’s no secret I’ve been to a fair share of sport games but most importantly football games!
I’m a huge football fan especially college football. I’m beyond excited that in a short few weeks here I will be cheering on my team, the Houston Cougars! Let’s go ahead and jump into the tips I have to have the best game day experience!
CUTE OUTFIT
Such a simple start a cute outfit! I have a crazy amount of red clothes because of my school and honestly I’m not mad about it. You can dress up any outfit and make it a game day outfit! Here in Texas we love to dress up our football outfits with cowboy boots! I’m wearing this all red outfit with white earrings and some cowboy boots.
I also chose this other comfy and cute outfit! Not wearing as much red in this one but the red hat is more than enough! Not only that it has my schools logo and with the summer heat in Texas it’s a great way to protect your face from the sun! Both of these are great options for college football!
TAILGATE
Tailgating might be the most fun of the entire game day experience! At my alma mater, there is a whole area where everyone is tailgating and getting excited for the game. Make sure you have a good group of people with you and trust me you will have a great time!
Oh another HUGE tip is to eat! There is nothing but amazing food at tailgates but even then a ton of people forget to eat and trust me I’ve seen one to many girls not feeling well in the bathroom. If you don’t eat during tailgate then eat at the game! My favorite thing to eat are french fries! They are delicious and easy to eat!
LEARN THE CHANTS & SONGS
Nothing is more fun than cheering on your team but learning those songs are a part of it! By now I’ve learned most if not all the songs that the band plays and the chants! We all have our favorites and of course I have one that’s my favorite! If you want to learn them or don’t know them a quick search on YouTube will probably help!
I hope all these tips help to have the best game day possible for you all! I’m seriously beyond excited for the start of college football season!
