Every year we get excited for the holiday season and one of the biggest reasons why is because we get to see our distant family and friends. I know I’m excited for everyone coming into town that I haven’t seen since the beginning of this year. Luckily, I’ve been able to share my office space and make it into a guest room!

First thing’s first, making sure guests are comfortable. I always wanted something that would be a bed but, put away for when it’s not in use. For a long time, we used a blow up bed but I knew it was time for an upgrade. We started at looking at day beds, trundle beds, but ultimately we knew we needed a sofa bed. In comes Article!

I got this beautiful new velvet blue sofa bed from Article that is literally so plush and comfortable. It’s the perfect piece for my office/guest room because it looks elegant when I’m using it as an office, but still converts into a full bed that is comfortable whenever I need to use it for guest. The sofa bed comes with a memory foam mattress making it easy to use once delivered!

It really is the focal piece in the entire room and my favorite part is the color! In the room I mixed dark blue, gold, and blush pink. The colors of the sofa bed fits so perfectly with everything else. I added some pretty blush pink pillows and these super cute holiday themed throw pillows.

Another way I make the guests comfortable for the holiday season is by decorating the room! I put up a Christmas tree and added a wreath over my sofa bed. I added Christmas decor pieces like a mini Christmas tree on my desk, added ornaments to a vase, and a cute Christmas fashion print.

I’m obsessed with the space! The best part about it is that guests have their own section, where they won’t feel like they are in the “office” but also I have my own section to work! I hope you guys enjoyed this post and are able to make your office room into a great holiday space for guests!
