Happy Friday! Who is ready for the weekend!? You know I am! I have some fun plans with R for the weekend and I’m just ready to relax and sleep in honestly! Today I’m going to be sharing some fun Galentine’s Day Desserts with my Galentine, Ressa! Make sure to also check out her post here!
Last weekend, Ressa and I celebrated an early Galentine’s Day and partnered with different dessert locations in the Heights that would make the perfect Galentine’s Day treat! If you live in Houston I highly recommend checking out all these spots to get some of the best treats with your girlfriend. Let’s jump into the post!
Location: 2015 Yale St, Houston, TX 77008
The first stop we made was Tea by Sea. Tea by Sea is an all natural with no artificial tea shop. It was my first time there and not only was the location extremely cute but the drinks were amazing! We both had their new Pink Chai Jelly Drink and it was the best!
If you are looking for a cute spot to get delicious superfood drinks and get incredible pictures for the gram then this is your spot. I mean how could you say no?!
SWEET BRIBERY
Location: 250 W 19th St Suite E, Houston, TX 77008
I know it’s cooler in some states but in Texas we are having 80 degree weather which means bring on the ice cream! Our next stop was Sweet Bribery and I was so excited to try out their ice cream flavors!
This shop makes everything themselves in store (including their sprinkles) and their ice cream flavors are BEYOND amazing! I got a Strawberry Verbana sorbet and Ressa got the Fruity Pebbles Cereal Milk ice cream. They also make baked goods if that’s your jam! The shop is beyond adorable but my favorite is their “Be Sweet Y’all” neon sign!
HUGS AND DONUTS
Location: 1901 N Shepherd Dr #4, Houston, TX 77008
Is it even Galentine’s Day if you don’t have donuts?! The answer is NO! Luckily for us we were able to get our hands on some and they didn’t disappoint.
First off, how cute are these donuts! They scream Valentine’s Day and as I mentioned were definitely everything and more you would want in a donut. Pair these with a coffee of your choice and you got yourself the perfect Galentine’s Day treat!
MELANGE CREPERIE
Location: 711 Heights Blvd B, Houston, TX 77007
Crepes are what dreams are made of and Melange Creperie is here to make your dreams come true! I’ve been here so many times so I was so excited to partner with them for our Galentine’s Day celebration. If your in Houston and you want to try something new or extremely delicious check this place out!
I got the Butter Chicken Crepe with an Iced Orange Blossom flavored latte. Ressa got the Chicken Enchilada Crepe with the Rose latte. They were both so good and the place is so cute! Very Galentine’s Day appropriate because the building is pink, they have chandeliers, and the seating is all pastel colored! What more do you need for your Galentine’s?
Thank you to all of these amazing business for allowing Ressa and I to come in and try all that they have to offer. I highly recommend them to anyone in Houston but even more if you are looking for the perfect spots for Galentine/Valentine’s Day.
