Hello friends! Happy Friday! Who else is beyond ready for the weekend? I know I am even though I am going to be kind of busy but it’s all fun busy. So for today’s post I’m going to be sharing a fitness & eating update. I’ve gotten a few questions about the food I’m eating and a fitness routine so I figured I’d do it all in one. Let’s jump into it!

Since both are very important to me and I’m working towards something (ahem wedding dress) I’m going to be breaking them up. Also I am currently trying to get in better shape for my wedding so I wouldn’t say I am “dieting.” I’m simply more conscious of the things I’m consuming. First I’ll talk about fitness.

FITNESS

I’m not a huge fan of running (like literally hate it) but sadly it is one of the most effective ways for my body to lose weight. I try to do cardio in other ways like the Stairmaster (which BTW is my best friend), dance, or spin. This year my goal is to try to make it to a least one group fitness class.

Also I know I got a LOT of questions on BBG since I started it all over in November last year and yes I definitely love the program. It will kick you in the butt SO hard but the results are worth it. I kept up with it during the holiday season but haven’t since and I think a big reason why is because I started to work out during the day.

My goal is to work out at least 4 times out of the week but if I can do more than YAY! I’m also doing some body sculpting sessions (which I shared on my Instagram Stories) and have more sessions so I will definitely let you guys know my thoughts.

DIET

diet, frittata, coffee, breakfast, diet, bom dia, starbucks mug

So many of you guys have been asking about my diet and what I’m doing. As I mentioned above, I’m not doing a “diet” or anything of the like. I’m just watching what I eat and am becoming more conscious of it. I know you guys have seen that I’ve eaten all kinds of things (noodles, desserts, burgers like literally this past week).

What I’m trying to consciously do is cook every meal during the week and one day of the weekend. Just that alone is HARD. All of you guys that cook everyday like BRAVO because it’s not that easy for me. I try to have one day out where me and R just eat whatever we want.

The rest of the week we try to eat a protein, greens, and very little to no carbs. The number one thing to remember (and I know a lot of people say this) is that if you get a craving for something, EAT IT. This doesn’t mean you are craving Doritos and you eat the whole bag. Eat a few and be done with it. If you don’t feel like you can just eat a few buy the snack size bags.

Pinterest has been my go to for recipes because I get bored eating the same thing, especially for dinner. I’ll share a bit of a example of what my everyday diet looks like:

BREAKFAST
Coffee & Veggie Muffin Frittata
LUNCH
Baked Chicken Breast, Cauliflower Rice, Green Beans, Sparkling Water
DINNER
VARIES

For the most part, lunch stays pretty consistent because I meal prep it every week. Breakfast can be a mix of coffee and a muffin frittata or just a protein shake. Dinner is definitely the one that changes the most.

I hope this helped answer any questions you guys have had. I will continue to do these types of updates for you guys!
