Fall is pretty much here! Well except the weather… lol. I wanted to spend August living full of summer fun and now that it’s almost over I’m beyond ready for the new season. So to kick things off I wanted to share my fashion fall edit! These are pretty much all the things that I think will be trending for the upcoming season. I didn’t make one for summer but I made one for spring and you guys loved it.
Fall is all about layering, boots, and neutral colors for me. Lots of what I’ve shared below follows those exact three so let’s get into the fall edit.
LEATHER BLAZERS/JACKETS
I have leather jackets in black & brown but last year I added a leather blazer and man was it needed! It started making its round last year and it’s here to stay! I’ve shared a way that I styled it above but there will be so many chic ways to style it like with a white top & jeans with combat boots. I highly recommend picking one up and I’ve listed some below from all price points!
CHUNKY CHELSEA BOOTS
I debated on chunky Chelsea boots last year and I never got them so this year I wasn’t missing out on them. These are definitely going to be ones that you will be seeing everywhere mainly in black but they come in so many great colors. You can also do chunky combat boots but if you want to do a different and new trendy boot then this is the one!
FAUX LEATHER PANTS
Definitely will have to wait until it gets cooler here for this one but I am so excited for this trend! I bought some faux leather joggers last year that were great for fall & Thanksgiving. But just a straight leather pant is going to the it pant this year. I found some cute ones with the split at the bottom which are currently trending so these would be perfect to add to your collection.
SHACKETS
If you haven’t hop’d on the train you need for this trend. We are talking all about shackets. I have a few of these and most recently I added a neutral colored one. You can do the plaid look or even get them plain both look so great and make such a great layering piece! This is definitely the new “cardigan”.
WESTERN BOOTS
I have had my eyes on western boots for about two years now and I still haven’t pulled the plug. I’m not talking about regular cowboy boots because of course being Texan I definitely have some. The ones I’ve shared are so chic and perfect for fall! They can go with skirts, dresses, and jeans. I would definitely even do it with shorts since it’s going to be in the 90s here for a while. Trust me these will be great for all your fall looks.
BLAZERS
Okay so blazers in general are always a great layering piece. But I recommend adding on a plaid blazer or brown blazer for fall. The ones I’ve shared in the photo above are perfect and of course can be worn with anything for fall. I’ve shared a ton of great ones for fall down above.
