It’s February and yes this is my first post of 2021! If you’re new around here welcome! I have a lot things to share and am super pumped for this new year. Today I’m going to share my 2021 Vision Board & Goals. Some of them are personal, some of them are business, and some are just for fun! Let’s jump into the post.

2021 VISION BOARD

The main thing I want to focus on this year is calmness. Last year was beyond crazy with the pandemic and of course all the politics plus I was in the middle of wedding planning. Let’s just say I was consistently stressed out! This year I decided calmness was going to be something I was pushing forward; starting with me.

My vision board reflects ways to stay calm like reading, coffee, self care, plus a relaxing home. I never realized how much noise and crap I had lying around until recently and let’s just say… it’s been eye opening. I’m putting this as my computer screen saver and hoping that everyday I see it pushes me forward to what I’m hoping to have this year.

2021 PERSONAL GOALS

+ Reading: One thing that helps me stay calm and relaxed is reading. I don’t want to give myself an outrageous goal so I decided to try to read at least one book a month. By the time the year is over that’s 12!

+ Coffee recipes: With my new Nespresso, I feel all kinds of giddy and excitement to try and learn to make coffee recipes! So far I’ve made a latte I love and an affogato. I’ve also recently picked up some syrups so I’m sure you’ll see my coffee creations all over Instagram and I can’t wait!

+ Skincare: This one is coming over from 2019! I’ve been focusing more and more on skincare the last few years because I’m at the end of my 20s. It’s time to buckle down, get a routine and take care of my skin and I’ve been loving it! I always share tidbits of this on Instagram but I may be doing a blog post of all the things I love so be on the lookout!

+ Plant care: 2020 did bring love of plants to a lot of people including me! I bought two different plants last year and one of them sadly died. The other one is THRIVING so I decided to add on 4 more plants this year! Wish me luck and I will also be sharing my plant journey on Instagram so another thing to look out for.

+ Minimalistic: I’ve been crazy about organizing this year which has also made me throw out a TON of crap. While throwing out all the things I realized that I didn’t need or use many of the things. Not only did I waste my money but buying this items is just wasteful. I want to be better about purchasing things and truly thinking everything through before buying and adding. Truthfully I feel like I have everything I need and I hope I remember this while I’m out shopping or browsing online.

+ Cozy Home: While I am wanting to keep minimalistic thoughts I also want to make my home as cozy as possible. I have always love neutrals and I’m really working with the neutrals I have while adding in some nice pieces. Since we will continue to be spending time at home, I want to make sure every inch of my home feels cozy, loved, and put together. I’m working through the entire process now but I can already tell the difference.

+ Fitness: I was working out for the wedding last year, stopped, started again and stopped again. This year I want to be consistent and honestly just want to feel better. I don’t think I’m “fat” but I know I’ve gained weight and it shows in some of my clothes which I HATE. I’m okay with it though because again last year was stressful and honestly I don’t really care but I do want my clothes to fit better. This year I want to stay consistent and find new workouts that I love.

+ Make more $$$: It should be everyone’s goal to make some new or more $$$ but I specifically want to make more! I also want to save more because this past year a lot of my money went to the wedding which was fine but now I need to replenish. Plus now that I’m married, Ryan and I have decide to change up the way we handle some of our individual expenses so there’s a lot to take care of. Also I have some debt I would LOVE to clear before the end of the year so here’s to making more, saving more, and clearing debt.

2021 BUSINESS GOALS

+ GROW MY INSTAGRAM: This is my number one goal because I feel like I’ve been stagnant for so long. That is changing this year because I’m going to focus more on what you guys are loving and really hone in on that. If you guys have anything specific feel free to let me know!

+ UPDATE OLD BLOG POSTS: I have now been blogging for almost 5 years and there are a TON of old blog posts that need some help. That’s links that need updating, graphics, and some of them just need to be archived tbh.

+ SHARE AT LEAST 2-3 LTK POSTS A DAY: Last year I started sharing sale finds, recent purchases, & more on liketoknow.it and you guys have seemed to love them! My goal is to consistently post at least 2-3 ltk posts a day and if you aren’t following me make sure you are so you can see the lastest posts.

+ WORK WITH NEW BRANDS I LOVE: Last year my business went a bit dormant because of the pandemic but it quickly started to pick back up. I’m beyond grateful for it and I know everyone says it but, I truly am picky about brands I work with. There are a ton of brands out there and I know which ones I love so I’m hoping to get the chance to work with them this year.

+ FIND A BETTER CONTENT PLANNER: My current content planner consists of my ideas and me placing them into different dates. It’s fine but I would like something more uniform and easier to follow. Content planning takes time, research, and creating of course so finding an easy way to get it all together is exactly what I’m looking for.
