Welcome to the Alamo city!

This weekend I got the chance to go visit some friends in San Antonio before the end of the summer season. Fun fact I used to go to school in San Antonio so every now and then I like to go back and catch up with some friends! (In other words, I will have good amount of posts from SA)

I had so much fun visiting friends, seeing new places, and just getting away for the weekend.  We got there Saturday and we left Sunday night.  Sunday was definitely the most adventurous day because we were able to go to a new brunch spot, go to a super cute coffee house, and of course In-N-Out!

For brunch we went to Tribeca 212. I had the Cured Salmon Benedict and wow was it yummy!  Of course it’s not brunch without mimosas and we got to try a peach mimosa and a pink mimosa (cranberry & orange juice). After we finished brunch, we decided it was definitely time for some coffee and macaroons!

We visited Bakery Lorraine and if you live in the San Antonio area or are going to visit very soon I would highly recommend this place!  First off there is a lot to choose from in the bakery section (and they also sell sandwiches if you are hungry) and all kinds of coffee.  Not only that the place itself is so cute! Definitely Instagram worthy!

After all that food we took a break (AKA naps because mimosas) and when we woke up it was dinner time.  Since we there isn’t a In-N-Out in Houston (and since last time I tried it I wasn’t a fan) I decided that was a must go place! I’m not a big animal style person so I like everything plain jane.  (Btw still not a fan)

I had such a good time exploring and eating (since that’s what I mostly did) that I didn’t want the weekend to end but all things do.  I am thinking of traveling one more time before the year ends but you will have to find out later!

What places have you visited this summer?!
