Summer Date Night with a Twist

Happy Wednesday everyone! Wow this month is flying by and I just can’t seem to keep up with it. If anyone has any tips I will take them! Today on the blog I’m sharing a fun summer date night idea that I think every couple should do. In case you are wondering what I’m talking about its Painting with a Twist!

summer date, date night, painting with a twist, date ideas, loveI don’t know how many of you have tried this out but I highly recommend it! It was so fun and it was different than most of our dates. For those of you that haven’t heard of it let me tell you a little bit about it.

So just head over to their website, Painting with a Twist, and look up a location near you. You will notice that they offer different classes. We decided to do the Date Night class and painted the “Love Trees at Night.” The best part about the class though is that it’s BYOB! What’s a date night if you don’t have a bottle of wine? I of course had to take Rosé and my boyfriend wasn’t mad about it (I mean who would be.)

The best part about it is that we got to create something for our home and it’s unique to us. We had drank, we laughed, and created our art. No we didn’t come out as Picassos but for first timers I think we did a good job (at least I think that’s what my dog thinks).

It’s funny to see how each couple interacts with each other and how they work together to finish up their masterpiece. I would love to think what you think of our art and also let me know if you’ve ever tried this! I would love to hear you thoughts and opinions! Also I decided to hang our art right over my desk (aka the space I spend the most time) and it reminds me of us and our relationship. 🙂

XOXO,

Silvia M.

your paintings look great! I’ve done a few of these Painting with a Twist nights and the hardest part for me is picking up the right glass to drink out of. I’ve gotten close to drinking my paint brush water a few times!
