It’s hump day! I’m looking at the dates for September and I can’t believe that we are narrowing down to the end of the month.  Where does time go!? I feel like I have so many things to do still it’s not fair (literally throwing a tantrum).  If I’m being honest I’m still unpacking from NYFW.  Oops! Today’s post is following my series from NYFW and it’s going to be my Day 3 Recap.

I have one more of these left so after this week I’ll be done with recaps! Next week I will have NYFW Guide, which will answer questions and help many of you that want to attend NYFW! If you have any questions about anything let me know in the comments below! For now, let’s jump right into the recap!

RECAP

Sunday morning, I had a coffee date at Covina with some blogger buddies.  I got to meet some new people and catch up with some old.  It was a nice way to start after a busy night and going straight into a busy day.  The first show of the day was Dan Liu.  This show got full fast and sadly I didn’t make it in.  Totally okay though because we went to the Fashion Lab by E! and got to take some cute pictures and do a mini runway walk.

After our pictures, we noticed we didn’t have another show until 3! HALLELUJAH!  We got a ride with Lexus which was AMAZING and seriously the way everyone should travel during NYFW. This was our chance to get some food because we were sure if we didn’t we probably wouldn’t eat.  Naturally since it was late morning/early afternoon we hit up brunch because brunch stops for no one.  We went to Sarabeth’s had some delicious sangria’s and split a margarita pizza! #sundayfunday Oh also, on our way to Sarabeth’s we ran into Ashley Graham doing a shoot. WHAT!?! Obviously I fan girled HARD!

Once we had food in our belly and were feeling quite nice from the sangria, we went out to the cobblestone roads and started taking pictures.  I’m always jealous and in awe of all the instagrammers/bloggers who have cute photos with a cobblestone road.  This was my chance and of course I took it! Once we finished taking pictures we headed to our next show.

The next show was the Leanne Marshall show and I was so excited! I looked at her collection from before and loved the dresses she has.  Again sadly, I got there late and we couldn’t get in.  This was literally story of my life on Sunday but it was my fault for running late.  Since we didn’t have anything else to later that night we decided to do what any girl in New York would do. SHOP!

We went out to Central Park did some sight-seeing and hit 5th avenue.  My favorite store in when I visit New York is Henri Bendel.  The huge gold doors, the two-story store, the beautiful bags and accessories I mean who wouldn’t love it! I went in and did some retail therapy. After all that sight-seeing and shopping we were hungry.  We stopped at one of my favorite places Paris Baguette, grabbed an iced chai and a chicken pesto sandwich.  It was HEAVEN!

We headed back to the hotel to relax a little before heading to our last show of the night.  The last show of the night was Jarel Zhang.  I actually didn’t get any photos of this show 1. Because my phone was acting up and 2. Because when I finally got it to work I couldn’t get a good picture.  I was having all kinds of luck this day.

This was the last night we would all be together so we decided to go out with a bang! We went to Beauty and Essex, which is a speakeasy, and seriously had the best time! We had some serious girl bonding time.  It was the perfect way to end our NYFW together and obviously after a couple of glasses of rosè how does it not end perfectly?

OUTFIT

I started the day in the perfect most comfortable gingham dress.  I paired it with my Converse and a leather jacket.  It was such a comfortable outfit and I got many compliments on the dress.  I got the dress from Express and the leather jacket a while back from Zara. Also this dress is currently 30% off so if you ask me that’s pretty snag worthy.

Later that day I decided to change into my second outfit and wore these black pants from Shein and white top from Express. First off these pants are only $9 and come in a ton of colors! They are seriously some of the most comfortable pants I own! I’m not a pants person but I’ll wear these any day! I paired them with the cutest black pearl sandals by Liz Claiborne.  When I tried on these sandals they were so cute and comfortable and thought they were perfect! Not so comfortable though when you are walking in the city of New York.  Still they were absolutely adorable so #noregrets

That wraps up my day 3 recap! Friday’s recap will be days 4 & 5! Remember if you have any questions about what I did, how I did it, outfit choices, etc leave them in the comments below!

XOXO,
