Good Morning friends! The holidays are coming up and it’s going to be a whirlwind of days just flying by! Before any of that, though, you know what I’m thinking about… football playoffs, football rankings, football games! You guys know I’m a ride or die football fan, and when I get a chance to do anything related to football I will take it! Today I’m sharing with you how to host a homegating party for your future football games!

DECORATIONS

You can’t have a party without some decorations! I picked up some easy football inspired plates and cups.  I also used a green football field tablecloth as the backdrop and added some fun printables to the wall! Talk about cute photo opportunity, am I right? 🙂 It calls attention to the room and everyone knows where to go for all the fun!

I set up the food table right in front of it so it’s easy to keep going back and forth during the game.  You can also move the table if you just want to use it for photos! It’s a clear win-win situation. 🙂

FOOD

Hands down the best part of any football game is the food! There is a variety of options, and no matter what you get it will be amazing! One of my favorite foods is wings! I mean truly, can you go wrong with wings? The best part about them is that you can buy so many flavors so that you are able to accommodate any guest coming to your party!

For this party, I picked up Tyson® Any’tizers® hot wings buffalo style and Any’tizers® boneless chicken WYNGZ* honey BBQ, as well as the Tyson crispy chicken strips because they are perfect for dipping into any sauce or condiment!  All specially marked Tyson chicken products are raised with no antibiotics ever and have no added hormones of steroids! That means not only are you getting a delicious and easy meal but, you are also giving your friends and family food that you can feel good about! I picked up all Tyson products at my local Kroger store, and they are available at all Kroger or Kroger Division stores.

I truly love to give the full experience so I paired the wings and chicken with carrots and celery sticks.  In the center of the tray, I added ranch dip but you can add any sort of dipping sauce you feel would be best for you and your guests. If they are picky, then I suggest just adding different dips on the food table.

THE GAME

Obviously, the main guy of the hour is the football game.  I’m all about showing support and spirit by wearing my team colors! Before everyone arrives make sure to tell your guests to come supporting their favorite team! Once the game starts, you can buddy up with your side and play games against opposing teams. Trust me, any game will work as long as you do it during commercial break (tip from my boyfriend haha).

The second biggest tip that I can give you is make sure to clear the game area from any extra tables or lamps etc.  I usually host my homegating parties in the living room because it is my biggest space.  I do move around furniture and breakables (you never know) so that everyone can lounge around the area comfortably.  You will be happy to know that all your precious décor pieces and such are out of the way and the guys will be happy that they have full front and center view of the TV.  Everybody’s happy!

I hope you enjoyed this homegating guide and can’t wait to hear about your next party! Good luck to you on your game day!

XOXO,
