Good Morning! We are midway into the week and I’m definitely feeling accomplished.  My best accomplishment is that I have been able to put together my wardrobe for NYFW! Well most of it. 🙂 Today I’m going to be sharing some fall fashion trends I’m starting to see and love!

For some it might be too early to talk about fall (I mean this heat in Texas is no joke), but it’s almost here.  I promise you when I went and took these pictures I thought I was going to die, but when I was editing them all I could think about was pulling out all my vests, coats, and booties! Let’s get into the trends!

#1 Color Red

Red has been huge this year! I don’t think I’ve ever bought as much red clothing as I have this year and it will carry into the fall.  I’m truthfully glad that red is a trend because that means I can transition clothing pieces into game day pieces and wouldn’t love that?

#2 Sweaters/blouses with Statement Sleeves

Again, this amazing trend from the spring and summer is going straight into fall.  Luckily, I’ve started a pile of these babies and am just adding fuel to the fire come this fall.  Nothing makes a sweater standout and say, “hey look at me” then bell sleeves or cascading sleeves.  If you haven’t bought into the trend you need to and trust me you won’t regret it.

#3 Mules

My obsession with mules is INSANE! They are so comfortable and can really turn an outfit into amazing! There are so many styles and colors that who can choose just one.  Not this girl! I recently purchased a new pair for NYFW (sorry not sorry) and can’t wait to get them in the mail.  If you aren’t about designs, at least get a plain black or nude pair.  They go with everything!

#4 High-Waist Wide Leg Pants

I was pretty scared of this trend because I’m short and don’t want to look like my pants swallowed me but I’m in love and I don’t care who knows it! They have so many different styles and in my opinion they give off this “high fashion” look.  Tuck in a blouse or sweater and you will be in love!

Tell me which trend you are most excited for this fall? Or if I missed your favorite one let me know in the comments below so I can check it out!

XOXO,
