I have the rest of today and tomorrow and I’m officially on my Thanksgiving break! I’ve been looking forward to Thanksgiving since the beginning of the month! Yesterday I got a mini sneak peek of what’s to come this week at my jobs potluck! I had a really great time with the people I work with and as I mentioned in my thankful post, I am definitely thankful for them and my job! We had a photo booth so of course we had to go in there and take crazy pictures but that’s what makes the team so unique. 🙂 The feeling of being together with people I love just got me even more excited for Thanksgiving with other friends and family! 🙂

So yesterday was dressy or semi dressy (I suppose) post for those who make Thanksgiving a little bit more well… dressed. Today’s post is all about making it a little more comfortable which I’m all for! My family doesn’t get to dressed up. I mean we aren’t sweats and t-shirts but we also aren’t glitz and glam. (Just the right middle 🙂 ) I’ve paired some super essentials and if you are in the middle too this is perfect for you!

First off I HATE WEARING JEANS FOR HOLIDAYS! (Yes that caps means HATE) It gets uncomfortable especially if you know what’s at the dinner table and how much of it you are going to eat. Usually for Thanksgiving I eat two different meals (this year might be three) and I know I’m will be stuffed so jeans NO THANKS. A great alternative though is leggings! Yes girl those are my best friend for the holidays! No need to get that tight pants feeling and you are comfortable no matter what!

Another essential is a loose fitting top. Same as jeans you don’t want something stuck to you the entire night because then you won’t be able to hold that belly in and it’s going to show. (Unless that’s your MO then go for it! Show everyone what you got! 🙂 ) I found this cute army green knit top which is the perfect color for Thanksgiving and it has bell sleeves! (WHAT!?!) Literally couldn’t resist the moment I saw it.

For shoes I wore some long brown boots because A. they have a mini heel which will make me just a bit taller and B. the color is perfect for Thanksgiving! For accessories I just wore a choker to keep it simple and of course to add a little fun I added some arm candy. The purse is obviously the show stopper because I’m obsessed with it and I want another one in a different color (seriously though).

I hope you guys enjoyed this easy and comfortable Thanksgiving Outfit. No matter what you wear I hope everyone gets to stuff their face and enjoy the company of their family and friends. As always I will link similar tops, bottoms, etc. at the bottom!

Have an awesome Tuesday!

XOXO,
