Good morning my lovely friends! I hope everyone had a great weekend and is ready to attack this Monday with a ton of coffee! It’s going to be a busy one for me but I’m ready to take on all tasks! I had a great relaxing weekend and got to catch up on sleep! I do have a couple of things to do around my house this week but got most of the big things out of the way and the rest will be out of the way today!

I have a full week left before my trip to Florida and I’m starting to get things done before my trip.Β  I don’t know about you guys but there are certain things that need to be done before I feel fully confident and ready for my trip.Β  Today I’m going to be sharing 5 tips that get me ready for any vacation I have coming up.

  1. Clean Home

Okay so this is a big one for me.Β  I just CAN’T leave home knowing my place is an absolute mess.Β  I mean think about it, you go on vacation to relax and when you get back home feeling absolute terrific your house is a mess.Β  (rolls eyes) It’s the worst feeling ever and now your great mood is turned into crap I have to clean now.Β  So trust me, CLEANING BEFORE IS ESSENTIAL.

  1. Pay All Bills

Nothing sets me into panic attacks than forgetting things, especially bills.Β  Again you are going away to relax and forget about your worries and worry immediately sets in when you get any email or call saying your bill is late.Β  Check your calendar or bill schedule and make sure everything is set up and ready to come out when it needs to.

  1. Look Up Weather & Pack Appropriately

Weather can change at any second so I highly recommend packing a necessary.Β  For example, if you are going somewhere that tends to be cold like New York make sure to pack some sweaters and jackets just in case.Β  Trust me you won’t be mad if the weather takes any unsuspected turn.

  1. Buy Vacation Clothes

I’m a HUGE believer of this! So first make a budget and make a list of absolute necessities.Β  If you are going to on a beach vacation you’re going to need things like a swimsuit, shorts, some summer dresses, etc.Β  So, if you are needing any of those items make sure to get it before the trip! Don’t buy too much though because you will need room for anything that you buy while on vacation.

  1. Double check any reservations & last minute airline information

I don’t know how many times I’ve said it but you guys know I’m going to Disney.Β  (I’m super excited btw) With going to Disney you make ton of reservations ahead of time so I want to make sure I remember all the times and places I’m going to (I usually write everything in a notebook and scheduler on my phone).Β  Also flying can be tricky and some airlines have certain rules so make sure to check information about bags before you get to the airport so that nothing comes as a surprise later.

If you are going on a vacation soon or on any spring break vacation I hope this list of tips helped you.Β  I’m very excited for my trip and am starting some of these tips I shared with you this week! I’m a very early planner and the earlier I can check things off my list the better I feel.

Have a great Monday!

XOXO,

Silvia M.
