Good Morning! The middle of the week is here and I’ve never felt so ready for the weekend.  I’m currently trying to think of what to do for Halloween and what to dress up as.  We usually do something with some friends and my boyfriend and I wear matching costumes.  I don’t know if you have any ideas for anything leave them below! Today I’m sharing 4 Ways to Decorate for Fall!

If you are anything like me decorating for fall is one of the best times of year.  Of course, Christmas and the holidays in general are special days in my heart but I’m all about fall.  To be honest, I pulled out all my fall decorations at the beginning of August because I just couldn’t help it! Let’s jump right into 4 ways you can decorate your home for the fall.

GOLD KITCHEN ACCESSORIES

The apartment I moved into is a lot smaller than my last and I threw out a couple of furniture pieces aka my dining room set.  I have been ready for an upgrade for about two years and I will be getting a new one once we have out of this apartment.  What I didn’t throw out though were all my gold/copper votive candles, chargers, glassware, etc.  I love decorating the kitchen but especially the dining room table (sort of missing mine right about now).

CANDLES

Who doesn’t love fall scented candles? If you don’t, HOW!?! Every year I look forward to the fall candles because they have so many great scents! Of course, you can always find pumpkin everything and mixtures of pumpkin.  Last year I had a pumpkin waffle scented candle and it smelled so good! I also love candles that have gold packaging! They are perfect to add some detail around the house.

PILLOWS & THROWS

My obsession with pillows and throws is ridiculous but oh well.  The way I see it is that it can make or break my couch, chairs, and bed.  My boyfriend on the other hand doesn’t feel the same way and the moment I start browsing for more pillows I get so much eye roll (haha).  Depending on your décor style and furniture you can use so many different colors! My personal favorite is beige, orange, and yellow.  I also LOVE anything with gold stitching.

FALL DÉCOR

If anything, you need to add some pumpkins or a wreath in your home! I even have scarecrows around my house! I know some people love to buy blank white pumpkins and decorate them but I’m more of a buy it and it’s ready to go kind of girl.  Mostly because some of my craft things have been disastrous.  I did share a DIY wreath post last year (that I need to update) and you can totally do that for some fall décor! I’ll link the post here!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and I can’t wait to hear how you style your home for fall!

XOXO,
